CALL US FOR AN AWESOME HORSEBACK RIDE AT 850-773-1900 or 888-335-8530

Enjoy horseback riding on the beautiful trails in Northwest Florida located just north of Panama City, Florida and south of Chipley, Florida.

We take people riding who have never even seen a horse before!

Trail Rides

Our trail rides are by appointment only. That means only you and the people you bring, will be on your trail ride along with our guide. We find that we can cater to your specific needs better if we have one group to focus on at a time. We will teach you how to ride our horses before we go out on the trails to help you have a safe and fun adventure on our beautiful Tennessee Walking horses. These horses are gaited which means they move different than the average trail horse. They are smoother and don't have as much bounce when given the correct commands, which is part of what we teach you in the lesson. Your skill and the skill of the people in your party will determine how fast or slow we will travel on the horses. We will go as slow as you want or as fast as you want, it is up to you and the people in your party. If you have young children we try to have two guides, one for the adults and one for the children, (a slow guide and a fast guide) .

Overnight Camping Trips

We offer primitive camping adventures for $150 per person. This includes:

Tents, sleeping bags, camp chairs, portable primitive showers (no stall-but we can hang up a privacy towel) 1 lunch, 1 dinner, 1 breakfast, and about 12 hours of horse back riding.

A typical trip starts with about a 4-6 hour ride through the trails. stopping for a picnic, and then off to the camp site. The tents will already be set up with dinner likely waiting. If you have a favorite beverage in mind, feel free to bring it, but please be responsible and respectful. If the moon is out and you are willing, a moon lit ride is really something to experience. The next morning, if you can still walk, grab your horse and have a little pre-breakfast ride. Back at the campsite, enjoy some coffee and breakfast, then get back on your horse for one final ride through the woods and back to the barn.

Of course, the length of rides can be tailored to your needs and if at any time you don't feel like you can sit in the saddle one more second, we can come get you and bring you back to civilization.

The campsite is maintained by the state and has a clean port-a-potty on site.

Campsite: (Guard dog included at no extra charge!) Portable shower can be seen hanging from the tree on the right.

Beautiful scenery in the middle of the woods.

Sorry, the poodle is not included, but good times are guaranteed!

Horsemanship Summer Camp

We offer a horsemanship summer camp for children 6 and up who love horses and want to learn more about them. Some examples of what they will learn are:

  • How to care for a horse (living environment, nutrition, how to recognize diseases)
  • Types and parts of tack
  • Grooming tools and how to use them
  • Correctly sit on a horse and proper rein carriage (for pleasure riding)

On the last day, the children will get their own horses groomed and saddled (with a little lifting help, of course!) and go on a 1-2 hour trail ride.

Currently our horse camp is 3 days a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) from

  • 9 am - 12 pm ($100 per child) or
  • 9 am - 4 pm   ($250 per child)

We require at least 3 participants to hold a camp. The days and times can be arranged (with enough notice) to accommodate your schedule if needed.

The girls riding bareback to learn better balance and with better balance comes more confidence!

After learning about horse care, grooming, and practicing in the arena, the girls traded in the bareback pads for saddles and the cowgirl hats for helmets to go out on the trail for a nice ride to the lake.

If you come out for a fun-filled horse adventure, please

and tell us all about your great time!
